At ECBC, you will find a group of believers that loves the Lord and loves people. We work to have a warm, inviting atmosphere while ordering our services to glorify our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. The following statements summarize our purpose and priorities as a local body of believers:
Throughout Scripture, God’s deliverance of His people results in worship and service to the only true God. We desire to order our lives and worship in a manner consistent with what God wants from us. Our services include the elements of worship prescribed for NT believers, including vibrant, conservatively arranged songs communicating rich, Scriptural truth; reading the Bible together; pastor-led corporate prayer; expository Bible messages that clearly explain the intent of the passage and applications for us today.
We firmly believe that God reveals all that is necessary for eternal life and godly living in the completed revelation of the Bible. Therefore, we spend most of our time studying the Word together.
The New Testament gives lots of instruction regarding unity. We maintain that unity is based on accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior and living a life to His glory. We provide ample time for fellowship with one another in order to enhance this critical aspect of NT Christianity.
Christ’s final command (recorded five times) instructed His followers to “make disciples.” Therefore, as we go about our duties each week, we are committed to sharing the good news (gospel) that Jesus Christ died to pay for sin, was buried, and rose from the dead, guaranteeing victory for all who receive Him by faith.
We would be honored by your presence with us and trust you will be blessed by hearing the Word and engaging in fellowship with us. Join us anytime.

Glorifying God through Humble Service
Romans 12 outlines the most basic aspects of the sanctified response to the gospel. New creatures in Christ put on new lifestyles as God’s Word transforms them into the image of Christ. Following the general statement of transformation, the focus changes to address the outworking of a transformed life as it interacts with others. Consecration to God produces a deep humility and willingness to serve in whatever capacity necessary.
1:00 PM Study
Each quarter presents the opportunity to review God’s gracious provision, be reminded of the purpose and priorities of ECBC, and consider the next steps toward those goals. This Sunday afternoon, we look forward to this important part of the ministry. This is a great service to attend if you desire to know what ECBC is all about!
